The visit of the UNIDO Director General, Dr. Kandeh Yumkella to Lebanon took place on 22-23 August 2008; the official delegation accompanying the Director General was composed of Mr. Mohamed El Gallaf Chief Arab Bureau, Mr. Khaled El Mekwad UNIDO representative, Head of Regional office, Beirut, and Mr. Hashem Hussein, Head of UNIDO ITPO, Bahrain with note that the delegate of the Ministry of Industry in charge of the visit of H.E was Dr. Ali Yaacoub the LCPC Director.
The UNIDO Director General, Dr. Kandeh Yumkella signed with the Minister of Industry H.E Ghazi Zaeiter a Memorandum of Understanding
