Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdul Aziz, the General President of Meteorology and Environmental (P M E) and Chief Executive Officer of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment and under the auspices of the Arab Organization for Administrative Development, the Lebanese Cleaner Production Center awarded the third place among the best applications of environmental management in the private sector out of 95 research presented to Award of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Environmental Management at its third session 2007-2008

The awards ceremony was held to the winners at the Sheraton Hotel – Cairo, Egypt on 22-24 December 2008
